I wonder if that is his celestia (absorbing powers) or just a practical use of magic?
Yeah yandere flag is well and truly raisedFlag avoided, but another raised
It's the MC so it works out, it's the way it goes since it's from their perspective. Even having advanced knowledge they rarely make smart choicesI can't get over that this dude obliviously walked into the trap when he knew his life was in danger. He knew the circumstances and the time period for danger and was still like, "I'll go alone" and doesn't once think "Oh no I'm dumber than a bag of rocks"
I'm very confused what happened in ln. Author did not draw this well, somehow he survived the op last boss strike, but MC taking him down supposably was off screen, the whole chapter has a bad flow even after reading twice, it's hard to followhmm… so we got a timeskip, huh. it’s a bit different from the light novelwelp, the monster’s finally defeated, and now we’re just waiting for the academy arc. and yeah, this is what made Eleonor fall even harder for Arcus, turning even more yandere toward him

thank you for translation
This whole chapter was badly done, is the big bad even dead that was supposed to off him? How is he alive when original him didn't survive. Did he copy her power or what, these past couple of chapters in this arc have been quite disappointing and vague about what's going onUnclear mechanics on how a power just worked and completely fixed everything, a sudden conclusion to an arc that has, at this point, taken up almost half of the entire manga, unspecific resolution towards the MC that puts a nice bow on the primary inciting trouble with a forward-looking but vague approach?
It's been an honor gents, but I smell an axe.
Yeah I assumed the big bad got taken out by mcz but as off screen we have no way of knowing.Same problem as last chapter, choreography all over the place ngl, quite hard to follow, the artist does know how to draw, but their scene sequences need some work
Yea I kinda wasn't following the fight at all. The double spread of presumably a spell of some sort without the consequence (presumably, again, the monster getting one-tapped) kinda just fell... flat. The entire fight, including the lead up, matter of fact, kinda felt muted. The panels for this chapter don't really flow very well. Everything happens out of frame.
The shadow looks like it was alive and attacked him again but he's fine and sitting up even though he's bleeding out. Then she needs a full pep talk before casting another spell which we don't see the effects of. Presumably the shadow is defeated.
It just seems like the artist is talented enough to draw characters, but not actions or their results.
The artist just doesn't know how to draw fight scene lolWhen the asspull happens offscreen lol.
I'm out.

It would have been better if Arcs was injured by the monster and what changed was Eleonore actually being there right next to him unleashing her powers nuking the monster and somehow healing Arcs with her dark magic stuff like Yumiella Dolkness.I can't get over that this dude obliviously walked into the trap when he knew his life was in danger. Yeah, well talking is ALWAYS a free action.Thank god that getting slashed healed him just enough for him to be able to get up, talk normally, make a little speech and cast his incredible ultimate magic that does... something. All while the shadowy-thing waited 13 pages doing nothing because it used all its action points, and thus had to end its turn and wait MC to deus ex machina his way into the next chapter.
