I get the feeling that this is building up towards Seto becoming more aware of his failings and doing his best towards becoming a better version of himself for his girlfriend.

From a meta perspective, I feel like it would be neat to see a more real risk of Seto losing Anjou, since one of the few things I don't like about her character is that she can be too much of a Maniac Pixie Girl sometimes. I think this chapter is a step in the right direction, showing her that there is more to her character than her love for Seto.

As far as nhen being just porn, 85% yeah but I'd say there's probably a good 15% that are well written doujinshi that capture so much more than that, even ones that are doujinshi of an established series.

Ok I get people got mad about the cliffhanger but this really shows that Anjou was 100% not in a state were doing it would have been a good idea, like she seems to have internalized the idea everyone had of her as an useless stupid slut, that the only thing she has to offer is her body and Seto made the right call to tell her that that is not the reason why he wants to stay with her
