This arc is great! I love the character and relationship development! Each helps the other out growing as a person as a couple.
I'm pretty sure mom means that Ana is too dependent on Seto guiding her too much and she needs to pull herself together to help him improve more. Her mom knows, she must've had a similar situation with Ana's father and couldn't help him and thus ended up going different ways.
I can't wait for the next chapter!!

With how the chapter ended, I got an idea of what she may end up saying.

1: she’ll say that Seto is a good kid but is too eager to go above and beyond for Anjou and thinks he has ulterior motives or just too shortsighted
2: she’ll say “as you are now” and mentions how Seto is going above and beyond while Anjou isn’t meeting him halfway or barely a quarter
3: her ending up explaining why and a flashback to Anjou’s dad being similar to Seto so there’s animosity towards them due to that
