@Cykron Its not really a double standard, when an average woman can walk up to 100 guys, ask him for sex and get more than 75% success rate, while a Handsome, well dressed man, can do the same with 100 women and not even get close to 1% positive replys.

Women have control over the supply of sex, so a woman that just gives it away is often frowned on for it, while a man that can get lots of it, is seen as an impressive feat.

I see it this way: You can "clean" the "cup" after it is used by washing them / taking a shower. You dont have to use it, when its still "dirty". Well, maybe you can talk about it that way, that the "cup" has a "dent" now, but this would refer to you the same way. Once you was "used", you have a "dent" too. I get this "purity" concept, if you want a partner for you life, like childhood friend to being grandparents with them, but seriously, way more than 50% of human population did have more than one partner in their life. Life isnt that easy, that you will find your soulmate at the first time and often even never. Whats important for me, is that you commit to your current life partner, what happened before, doesnt matter.

I like how the author is giving a certain depth to these characters, without leaving them only in a shallow stereotype.

And so ends Vol.1. I hope @_anq has managed to get Vol.2 Raws to continue with the daily updates.

Here it comes. Serious talks in comments of a pretty simple manga? It's almost like batoto came back to life. Oh, how I miss it.

Both cups are unique in their own way
Oh fuck off you r/niceguys white knight tool. You answered their stupid, inaccurate and childish analogy with a stupid, nonsensical and childish platitude. Fuck off with that shit. @That-Guy said it right.

@Cykron
It's not a double standard because it's not the same situation. It's harder for men to get sex than it is for women. That is a fact. Don't try and pretend it's the same thing. If you wanna talk about actual double standards you can talk about prison sentences, when a man leaves a women or woman leaves a man, or if men show off their body vs if women show off their body. But when it comes to sex, it's hardly an equal comparison. Name calling and alienation aside, pretending a man who has a lot of sex is a one to one comparison to a woman who has a lot sex is blatantly bias, naive and uninformed.

@boag Sex is not a commodity you retard.

@Yautja It's not a double standard because it can't even be a double standard. That's like saying guys want to eat steaks more than girls is a double standard. It's not a thing.

It doesn't fucking matter how much sex a person has, just like it doesn't matter how much a person likes steak. Stop using sex as a commodity or a currency. You are not, nor have you ever been owed sex.

double standard or no, if you care about who's a virgin or thinking your impressive for sleeping with more women (because who the hell asks for sex at random? That's creepy, don't do it if you want sex at all) then your showing sexual insecurity just by virtue of needing numbers to validate it.

I'd care less about sexual "purity" and more about relationship history.
As in If she's sexually loose: will she actually stay faithful? An in the case of going from relationship to relationship: What about her is causing her relationships to fail? Bad eye for parterners or is she just horrible to be with?

Just my 2 cents.

@Rheeve You don't have to be in a relationship to have sex. They are not exclusively tied together.

i honestly think that the obsession with purity comes from low self-esteem and other personal issues, i know 3 guys and 2 girls that think like this, in the case of the guys the 2 younger ones are like :''If she had sex before i wouldn't be able to deal with that, they already made the big decission, anything after that is not that important, so even if she chooses me, im nothing special'', while the older (23) thinks that ur 1st one is a permanent precious memory, so anything after that can't measure to the real deal of the 1st time.

Now about the girls, one thinks that if her partner isn't a virgin, he will probably be an asshole that has a bunch of women, while the other one thinks that her virginity is the only remarkable thing about her, and if she loses it she will be nothing.

I know some are gonna say my friends are betas or some shit, but its more like a bunch of really fucked up self-esteem issues and expectations of relationships. It al lfucked up is ome way or another

Why you going around just starting fights with people? Relax, man. Just live and let live. Do you really think yelling at them on the internet in an aggressive way is going to make them think "Oh geez, he's right"? Anyone who has taken psychology knows that's just going to escalate any situation. If you genuinely want people to see your point of view, you need to first understand the position they're coming from. Their initial comment may be inflammatory but just screaming your point of view legitimately isn't going to add anything good to the situation.
If their comments really bother you there's a nice quote by Carl Jung that I like to remember when it happens to me:
"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."

So, @ everyone, just chill. There's nothing wrong with having an opinion, but there is something wrong with basing that opinion publicly as a fact. It's cool to discuss and debate about different issues, but if you're not going to empathize with whomever you're talking to and your only goal is to "Prove you're right" then all you're trying to do is stroke your own ego and it's not going to end well and you're never ever going to get the other person to genuinely consider your point of view as potentially right. If you're cool with that then how much do you really even care about the issue at hand to begin with?

Oh look. A white knight.
It's not a double standard because it can't even be a double standard.
Yea, okay buddy. That's not a fallacy called circular reasoning. You keep telling yourself that. You clearly don't know what a double standard is. Or what you're even replying to.
That's like saying guys want to eat steaks more than girls is a double standard. It's not a thing.
That's almost as stupid an analogy as the cup analogy.

Here's an actually accurate analogy. It's like saying it's a double standard that a man lifting 300 pounds on the bench is not as impressive when a woman does. Obviously a woman lifting 300 pounds is far more impressive than a man lifting 300 pounds due to the biological differences between men and women. It's far more difficult for a woman to lift 300 pounds than a man. Just as the reverse is true for sex.
It doesn't fucking matter how much sex a person has
Please do point to where I said it did.
Stop using sex as a commodity or a currency.
Please point to where I said or did that. Please do. I want to see what magic it takes to derive that from what I said.

Saying people who have or can do more of X based on gender is not reducing X to a commodity or currency. Do you even know what the meaning of the words coming out of your mouth are? I don't think you do. And your use of the words certainly seems to support that. Or just equivocation. Probably that.
You are not, nor have you ever been owed sex.
What a ridiculous straw man. How on Earth you got any of that from what I said is an absolute miracle. You're straight up delusional if you think that's what I said or tried to convey in any shape or form. What I said is a reality. It is harder for men to get sex from women than it is for women to get sex from men. How you took that to mean I believe I'm owed sex is some incredible mental gymnastics.

Normally I don't jump straight to insults, but dude, you're a fucking dumbass.

I think your words have a lot of truth to them and what you're trying to do is admirable, but ultimately naive. I think you should re-read what he's replying to, and what he said in response. He's not just being intentionally inflammatory, he's outright delusional. The words he's using do not fit the definitions he's trying to cram them into and he's replying to false perceptions of what others, including myself, have said. He's outright lied about what I and others have said and using numerous fallacies including but not limited to straw mans, equivocation, red herring, circular argument, and so many more.

@Happily_Grim Because stupid assholes should not be made comfortable here, lest more of them think they are in good company.

@Yautja Being able to lift something? Important. Wanting to have sex? Not important. "It is harder for men to get sex from women than it is for women to get sex from men." And this matters why? If it matters, you are saying that it's something you somehow deserve. If it doesn't matter, saying that statement is meaningless. Which is it? You're the one saying that a man who has a lot of sex is different than a woman who has a lot of sex. Why is it different? Why does it matter. Use your words, not insults there buddy. Since I "clearly" got your point so wrong, why don't you actually state it right here. What are you trying to say? What are you trying to imply? Do this "white knight" a favor and elaborate.
