I remember reading scanlator comments. Basically, they did their best to keep her level of rudeness and brashness consistent, even if it required them to change up some expletives and insults to keep the tone consistent across languages. Essentially, she's just as rude in the original, but the original Itachi uses Japanese style of rude language.Interogative : How much of Itachi's language and personality is present in the original? Is she as rude and and loud as the english version? I'm not accusing anyone of anything but I know sometimes things can be ramped up during translation.
Thanks! I really wish I knew Japanese just so I could compare the language like that.I remember reading scanlator comments. Basically, Itachi is just as rude in the original, but the Japanese ultra rude talk would sound childish if translated 100% directly to English.Yes, that is all correct. I dial up Itachi a bit, mostly cause what japanese consider to be "offensive" and what americans consider to be "offensive" are VASTLY different
most of the time, when Itachi calls someone a Bitch, she is calling them stupid in the original, or something equally childish sounding
