As I read this chapter I could feel a smile on my face. I was excited to finally see them move the fuck on from this arc and get back to wholesome Nazuna and Kou having fun running around at night. And then this asshole had to show back up and I could just feel my smile fall from my face. I hope its over in a chapter. Just fucking get this shit over with I swear to god. This mangaka is cursed to never get a third season.
He's on the cover of the volume so I doubt it's just a chapter.

I’m so glad I watch and consume different type of media cause I’m so used to fans crying and bitching about something everytime and then coming back to dicksuck. Trust me, foos will hate and say something fell off only to come back and say they always saw the vision and it’s peak. I’ve seen happen with music, movies, shows, anime etc and this time won’t be any different
I understand how you feel. Though I think most of us just didn't like this arc. Most of us love the series. But it is true that lots of ppl only look at something when ppl hype it up, that is how it goes these days.

Like others I'm desperately hoping this isn't signaling some kind of love triangle because that would be unbearable -_-
Don't jinx it. I - _- watch Kou and guy fight over Nazuna for the coming month (at least we would see Kou in action).
that said, I'm also so proud of Love-kun for coming out to socialize! And Susuki is so fucking cute she makes my weirdo heart smile ^-^ I'm also interested to see how the dynamic of all the disparate vampire groups coming together works out and evolves
I guess they will become awkward friends.
This whole Kiku arc was pretty anti-climatic in the end.
It was anticlimactic as a whole from start to finish. I mean the long flashbacks, the anticlimactic fights (especially Kiku VS Detective) and the ending itself, some kind of Romeo and Juliet. I wonder how the anime will adapt this... I also found Nazuna oddly absent in this arc except a few chapters

I can't blame you for that. Just when you think we get back to get the fluff back, we get some love drama instead. Hooray...

The manga went from a fun and mysterious relationship between human boy and a female vampire to a typical romantic anime with all the drama.

You know, I never understand why most romance manga need focus on like three relationships to keep the plot going. And those other relationships we don't usually give a crap about (Sakurai and Kazuma from My Senpai is Annoying are an exception).
I didn't give two dimes about Kiku and Mahiru and found it a waste of months reading this arc.
Nothing romantic about a 14 year old getting groomed into a double suicide by someone who should know better. If she truly loved him she would have let him go and encouraged him to give life a try again. Mahiru had any hope and possibility of a happy future stolen from him by someone he trusted. Remember, he was only 14.

You don't have to tell me, I agree. The worst part of all this, is that Kiku got away with all of this without any punishment at all. This frustrates me the most: everybody just accepted it! (EVEN THE DETECTIVE OF ALL PEOPLE!):mad::mad:

Mahiru fell in love with the one person in the world he shouldn't have. And she got away with everything with a smile on her face.

I hope the new vampire don't cause Kou to get all jealous and shit. Doesn't fit him at the slightest.

and it feels like the author thinks it's romantic and an acceptable conclusion. Wonder if he is going to give the sex pest some kind of "sympathy arc". I was honestly glad that the author decided to make an actual story out of the series but this just feels cheap.

I guess he thought a more dramatic "Romeo and Juliet" would be appealing to the readers.

Honestly, I didn't really mind the earlier chapters, because they truly felt unique, just Nazuna and Kou chilling and having fun with romantic elements . Now that there is a story, it kind of falls in the romantic cliche genre at some moments. Now the "love interest get jealous, even though crush doesn't like that other guy that way" plot or variation is coming.

Aight, I'm betting daterape vampboy is here to give us an exposition that will uncover the true fate of Nanakusa Haru. I'm also betting that "Nanakusa Nazuna" doesn't actually exist, that the person Kabura found was human Haru wiped clean of her memories and personality, and that Kiku turned her back into a vampire without realizing it was Haru. That's why Kiku has her weakness object but still thought death was the goal.

That's because you're dumb enough to lump the former and the latter into some sort of monolithic hivemind.

I have been unhappy since the start of kiku's arc, i didn't hate it in the beginning but it's felt like such a different story than the one I started reading that I had stopped reading every time a chapter comes out and just letting several accrue then binging two or three here n there. the way it ended has completely ruined any enjoyment or catharsis ending that arc could have brought and with the reintroduction of this putz I can safely ssy I no longer with to read it.

to those still enjoying and reading I wish you good luck and to those who have taken the hard work to bring us these chapters from the bottom of my heart I Thank you and your teams(both anonymous and tonikaku)

also is this thread really how i had to find out this got an anime...i need to pay better attention lol

I am sorry to hear that, but I can understand how you feel. Like sometimes arcs can disappoint you so much for because it pushes the story into a direction that you don't like.that it
