The only thing i dont understand is how her status works, she has 500 int and 300 magic, yet only 80 mana. Are they independent or something? (independent as in, more magic does not equal more mana)
@chynabrack in older games int stat changes how efficiently you can use manna magic stat changes the power and wisdom changes mana pool and regen newer games tend to combine int with mag if not all 3

Luk luck crit chance and some times loot chance

Why didn't she just use creation magic to create some meat? The whole need to go hunting felt pointless.

Hmm, I'm not sure why they hammer home the point that she was a male scientist. It wouldn't matter if she was a male or female scientist in her previous life since she was always female in this world. Seems like a pointless thing to constantly fixate on.
Also, Mr/s scientist. Why they hell are you hunting in the woods in a skirt? You should know that shit gets snagged when walking through trees and bushes, Pants or tights would be much more practical. since clothing creation is only 10 mana and you can use 80 mana every 200 seconds making a decent pair of hunting pants should be a no-brainer. Also she mentions that she the mana cost of accelerating a pebble to 200m/s, but doesn't mention what the limit of the mass of the object being accelerated is. You can assume its a few grams considering she's accelerating a pebble, but it should be clarified since if the mass of the object is not a factor, just accelerate the boar into the tree at 200m/s.
Oh and one last thing Mr/s scientist, you can manipulate air freely with your magic, if you need to run away from a boar, then it's easier if you reduce the amount of air it can breath in. It obviously has a nose, you can suffocate it making it much easier to run away or kill if need be. That should have an even lower mana requirement than accelerating a mass to 200m/s since it's similar air manipulation.

Also what kind of weird ass exponential growth is that mana cost? 5 times the mana for twice the speed?
She could probably easily reach rifle speeds if she didnt use a big ass rock as a projectile

Regarding the previous life's gender, it's probably to set up for more things down the line, where the clash of the old male life with the current female life might come into play. That, or it's just an excuse for the character to have a higher chance of dressing inappropriately, i dunno.
Hunting in the woods in a skirt: do you really expect a scientist (especially a male scientist) to have acute awareness of the difficulties that come from wearing a skirt in a forest? More likely than not, the thought process was [1. I'm a girl 2. Girls wear skirts ∴ I should wear a skirt]
And on the topic of ways to fight the boar, the main character was not a trained fighter in either of their lives (scientist/orphan), and when fight or flight kicks in, untrained individuals tend to fall back on the tactics and skills they already have. Lateral thinking in a potentially-fatal scenario requires a lot of practice.
I could always be wrong, though

If she can use storage magic to create bricks,
then she should just as easily be able to us it to separate a creatures head from its body.
I'm not really seeing the need for this type of weapon.
I could understand something that doesn't rely magic, but this doesn't seem that useful.

Also, MAKE THE CROSSBOW PIECES AND ASSEMBLE THEM, YOU FUCKING DOLT. Take the wood stock and shape it to avoid mana use, make the string, and make the arms. If it's a low poundage crossbow you can use a wooden release mechanism/nut.
...Or you can go full dumb and just wastefully use your magic to shoot rocks with air that requires time to prepare and is difficult to aim.

For a scientist she sure is dumb as fk. If you can't create them, then build them. Does she even remember magic doesn't exist in her old world?
