This is main reason Van cannot use his soul destruction on gods willy-nilly he need to find a way to remove them or bypass some problems. Unluckily For Rodiot he dug his grave too deep that allowed other to literally separate him from circle of reincarnation (he created it and in his death untold number of worlds stop functioning, no new life will be born).

Mostly preserve until the end. Then Alda and Belwood (his original champion) in final battle against Van put him in 'fusion dance' which gives too much stress on him, and still not enough power in the end. Sad things (arguably) is that he dies not knowing how much trash and asshole his god is and how many atrocities goes around his conflicts as well as how much author (arguably as well) handle him.

No one can. There the reason why novel community calls him Rodiot (real name Rodcorte). I mean, even with limited amount 'Braves' (100 including non combatant) he treats them like disposable bullets without any regard for any plan, tactics end such.

"Demon King's blood" one of demon king's body fragments. He's having too high of vitality, even dicing him into (approximately) hundred pieces doesn't stop regeneration. Most of them will be relevant in the future stories. Stay tuned.

You see that part in page 25 where they're talking about how supposedly a fragment of the demon king is sealed in these catacombs? Yeah, that's what Van ate. The demon king's a god so he couldn't be truly killed because nobody else could destroy souls, so his body was split into many pieces and sealed away for thousands of years. This piece was trying to possess Van, but Van's unique abilities let him just assimilate their power instead.
