I praised the scanlator that just left because his stuff was pretty good overall, chapter 15-16 though are pretty bad and the backlash made this group get a new translator (the one that did this tl, he's good)​

in terms of doing it myself I probably will at some point if no one does it in a year or so since I am slowly learning japanese and plan to do some scanlations of mangas that I adored and got dropped when I am good enough

On the note about "east" and "west": While "wrong side of the tracks" has a nugget of truth, in this series it's more accurate to point to the earlier class conflict between the super-wealthy students (and sponsors and donors) of the west and the merely upper-middle-class folks of the east that Kaede, Rin and, to some extent, Hayato Yuuki were primarily responsible for taming during the years just prior to Wataru's class of first-years entering.

Eh, it doesn’t bother me anymore, I will just delete the chapters anyway since there is no need for 2 chapters in the same language, though I have to say, some of their translated parts still sound weird but must be because I am biased towards my translation lol

Takaaki really went to brag to Wataru, but only because he was in fact no good at showing off to Aika, and that really got pointed out to him. The Wataru that says what's on his mind without any filter when it comes to talking to near strangers like Marika is still amusing. It's like part of the old him shining through the dark clouds.
