The premise put it that wives are not very respected, that they are considered "old" very early and are treated as a commodity that can be easily exchanged for money, the MC is supposed to be better than this, they also have lots of techniques that he doesn't, he worked in a team he should understand the importance of working in one, this is dumb.

I haven't read it in a while so maybe the answers are in the previous chapters, because there is also the question of why are they so strong? Why did they accept to be simple wives? Right now Ceres is negating them their choice.

Also I’m pretty sure Ceres is about 17 not 14. They set off when they were 15 and it’s pretty obvious the hero party has been fighting for awhile. Pretty sure hero mom said that she’s older then 30 so it’s pretty easy to calculate that Ceres is in his late teens at the very least

I'm pretty sure that he becomes some sort of Dragon(king) of Luck in #2, and there was a part where one of the girls had PTSD from the Mammon, it got better with time, but then her mom swooped in and started tormenting her for no reason. With some magical blade too IIRC.


Also I'm pretty sure that Mammon is just stronger than DK in terms of physical strength not overall.

Did he come into this world at 14 (meaning his dream/flashback is him at 14) meaning he's currently 24? That would imply the other girls in the Hero Party are also over 20 which would make them third class citizens as well but everyone treats them like they're still young. Ceres also stated that they are considered "old" by 17 and get the "not a real woman anymore" treatment at 20+ so if, according to you, they are 17 that would directly contradict Zect's entire motivation for kicking Ceres out since he shouldn't care about Ceres getting cozy with an "old" girl.

The plot only makes sense for the context of the girls in the Hero's Party if they are still considered "young" which puts them at objectively lower than 17 and likely a decent bit away from 17 which would make Ceres ALSO less than 17 (they are all around the same age).

Also Ch 1 isn't consistent on his age as it's mentioned he's 14 but it also states that Shizuko is 32 and is nearly twice his age. him being 17 is the minimum he would have to be for her to be nearly double his age when she's 32.

Small correction on what you stated, it states 26+ (ie after their mid 20s which is what it sttes) not 20+ is when one is no longer considered a woman
