The plot is already weak and bad, but guys wait until the MC becomes a DAMN DRAGON. More specifically a yellow dragon of luck - which will make him super lucky at everything (and super boring). That said, the former co-partners will return to the village and MC will patronize them. Basically, everything rolls downhill.

Manga is story..... and soap opera isn't the only story...

And the main issue is that this isn't a soap story.... so them adding soap elements just feels cheap...

A lot of author's do this. They know their story isn't deep and instead of just letting us enjoy that shallow story, they try to add a glass bottom to make it look deeper than it actually is, while actually making it more shallow....

Also, this chapter tackles a dilemma that I don't often see in manga. You know having friends in school who are ride or die type shit and they have always been nice to you but they also partake in something you don't agree with, let's say bullying others and talking about women not in the healthiest manner. It's kind of tricky because on one hand they have done no wrong to you but they are also not good people. Obviously it's not your duty to defend their wrongdoings or save them, but do you just unfriend them or what. No easy answer
