I think he should have dealt with the end of this chapter like he did with the end of 28.
He meant that as for now he considers them his daughters but in light of his past good relationship with them(understanding that currently they don't really love him), if they do happen to fall in love with him for real he's basically willing to accept them.Am i stupid or is the ending confusing? It read like he'll consider having them as wives, but he calls them daughters.
No it's the same in the light novel, at the current point in the LN the MC has a huge harem with still some more potentials, I won't spoil whose in it but most people can probably already guess some from this chapter alone, the harem grows bigger and the story gets more interesting so stay tuned if you love harems and Chad protagonistsLight novel readers, is the plot diverging here???? We were all scared it would turn into an absolute train wreck sticking with the LN plot, but this seems different??
WE GOT TO SEE THE LIDA AND HER DAD CONFRONTATION. Holy shit that was incredible. She felt so disgusted she had to leave, that was amazing.
Zect is an absolute piece of shit as always. Classic. He’ll literally be foraging through dumpsters in a few days. The girls are not much better. They just wanted to use Ceres for an easy life after throwing him out? That’s crazy.
Thanks for the translation!
Zect is like in his 40s-50s mentally of course he is so chill, he's basically just enjoying living his second life with a chill attitude, he takes everything in stride and many things don't get to him(it's explained better in the light novel)Zect and the former party are trash, for sure.
But....I just can't get behind Ceres being this chill, to the point of seeming like a pushover, when it came to Zect's shitty behavior and then Lida's dad (his "big bro").
Like...stand up for yourself or for others. He still put his own endorsement on the dad's shitty restaurant after that display of depravity from him toward Lida?
Ceres just feels like an bump-on-a-log old man who lets his wives show emotion on his behalf. Is there something I'm missing regarding the Dragon Thing wherein if he gets mad he explodes and could take out a city block, or something?
Just....be upset for once, I guess. Like yeah - Zect got slapped around by his mom, but then Ceres is just like "see you later brah! Let's get a drink sometime!" and....nothing.
Anyway whatever I guess, it's not like I was expecting anything profound, but his super easy-going attitude to so much of the interpersonal stuff between the other main cast sorta takes me out of the story, at times.
Thanks for the TL though. Appreciate the time and work being put into bringing this to us.
Nah he's just an a-hole(they showed his thoughts in the light novel and he never really loved any of them he just liked their bodies and he wanted to "steal" them from Zect cause of his inferiority complex which they don't really explain in the mangaI kind of think Zect did it just to protect the girls, or my head wouldn´t understand if he did it because he is that big of an A-hole...
The ending was a bit confusing but i guess they are preparing the girls to be more self-sufficient, and all that talk about "Ceres will consider your feelings", kind of sounds like when you tell small kids "we´ll see", since we know Ceres has no attraction for the girls since the beginning and now after they kick him out (specially the one that was supposed to be dating him) i would guess that now he might even dislike them... a distant step dad then
TL;DR answer:The ending confuses me, is it going to be oyakodon or not?
