Alice's observation is on point. Dragons are supposed to be worldly. Eve is the weird one for living like a recluse with no treasure hoard.
I was about to question Sophia's choice of making a magical ice rowboat instead of a small ship, until I remembered this is no problem for Lloyd, who then proceeded to turn the thing into a speedboat with his inhuman rowing.
Hope at least Lloyd didn't fall asleep, because if he did then that means the entire family is weak to sleep inducing attacks.
Let me guess, that "island" is no island at all. Gigantic sea monster, perhaps?
