Why? That was the correct version!
P.S. Reading Russian translation until Niku version is back. They at least don't translate her name.
I mean, both versions are practically the same, so you wont miss anything.

Still don't understand the Meat/Niku debate, so I'm letting Hydra goof around a bit in this regard, although I personally prefer Niku that's why I keep it in Russian version.

If dungeons are valuable state property in the Empire, it would be strange if an official representative of a neighbouring country comes and destroys such a piece of state property. It could even be considered a declaration of war.
It's more about conquered dungeons, rather than unconquered ones. The one who conquers them decides what's done with them, but they aren't allowed to remain unconquered... officially.

Also, is it just me or is seeing Keima rendered as Khema irking anyone else? It also reads wrongly (like someone spelling the first part of "Chemical" with a K and ending it with an A) in the English lexicon.

That's intentional. Nobody speaks Japanese so their pronunciation on the Japanese name is off.

Except there's nothing like that at all in the original. It seems to be a specific quirk of this translation only.

I don't know what translation you're referring to, but I can assure you that he gets called ケーマ instead of 桂馬 as far back as the original webnovel.

Which is Kehma, not Khema. There's nothing at all like Khema in the original, only in this translation, as I said.
