I'm of the opinion that the those 'misunderstanding' chapters of chapter 23 and 27, actually imply they have sex outside of just that instance in 16-17. but it's an opinion with little to no basis. With very little time continuity it's difficult to say.

If people are confused on when and where they did the deed, they had sex on several occasions. First time was at a love hotel, once it was shown they did when they were supposed to be studying, at the ryokan (they probably just played uno with the OLs I doubt it was a foursome) and probably some other times in between. If you look close in chapter 23 there's a red trashcan with tissues in it, they usually use tissues to clean up after sex in manga. (from what I've seen) This chapter confirms that they were seniors in high school, he's 17 and she's 18. Universities usually let students wear their casual clothes not uniforms. She should have been on the pill and he should have used a condom but oops oh well. I agree the author was sonic speed on this and didn't need to go teen pregnancy route, but imo it made this more interesting and different. People shouldn't have flammed him on twitter for his decision. People online are quick to be assholes cuz they aren't face to face, and twitter is one of the worst.

Also he's a good boyfriend for still staying with her and taking responsibility. I watched an episode of Highway to Heaven (an 80s show staring Michael Landon about an angel who helped people with different issues usually over regrets) in which they went to a home for teenage mothers where 25 single teenage mothers lived. Micheal Landon is an amazing actor known for Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, and Highway to Heaven. Highway to Heaven is a great wholesome drama and tackles some rough issues. Several episodes have gotten me to tear up. You just don't see shows like those on tv anymore. Too much trashy smut filled stuff these days. Normally I wouldn't look into something so christian cuz I'm an atheist, but I like him as an actor so much I can ignore those elements. I'd definitely recommend it if you like drama, tragedy, some romantic elements (in a few episodes) and supernatural elements too. If you like manga with tags like those, you might like Highway to Heaven. Cozi Tv plays re-runs of it in order. I don't know where else you could watch it, maybe find a torrent or something online.
