What if the story had been presented differently.

What if it’s told in PoV of Yuzuki (instead of Haruki) and he noticed Haruki actually had a chance.
Maybe at first, he’s okay with helping Haruki to win the girl he likes. Bros help bros, right?
But as Haruki is succeeding in career and leaving everyone behind, he also noticed Haruki never look at Tsukino in the eyes anymore. And as two people who got left behind, Yuzuki starts bonding with Tsukino.

If that’s the angle the story is told, would there be as much outrage?
Situation is pretty much the same, just whose side of the story you heard more.
