Put this at the manga comment section, but I felt the need to put this here in case anyone else feels the same. I hate this so much I made hate-fanfiction and am going to pretend that this is the canon ending.

The night after the MC (I forgot his name) got an award:

MC: No senpai, this isn't enough! Until I reach your level, I can't call myself your boyfriend just yet!

Senpai: W-What are you saying...? Your recent achievements as an editor are already on my level. I assure you kouhai-kun, I want to be in a relationship with you.

MC: DAME DA or some shit, I want to be more than myself. In some ways, I'm still unworthy of your love. GAHAA- (Gets punched by Okuyasu from JJBA4 and lands on the floor)

Senpai: Eeehhhh, kouhai-kun! rushes to him What are you delinquents doing to my kouhai! Police, help!

(Just as Josuke's about to heal MC, MC stands up from the ground and shields senpai)

MC: DON'T COME ANY CLOSER! I-I don't know what you guys are talking about, but you can hurt me but don't hurt my girlfriend!

At this point, both MC and Senpai blushes-

MC: Er, I mean... My senpai! I may not be worthy of her just yet, but-

(MC gets pulled by senpai as she gives him a kiss on the lips)

Senpai: If we're going to get beaten up by delinquents, I'm going to say it now. I love you MC-kun! If we survive this, we're going on a date tomorrow!

MC: Senpai... No, FMC-san. Alright, but I'm not going to just sit back. Let's fight together!

Standing besides each other, MC and Senpai prepare an unprepared stance like that of an untrained civilian. But Josuke and Okuyasu just laughs.

Josuke: Heh... You realize now MC-kun? You were always worthy. The moment you took Senpai off your imaginary pedestal, you have your imaginary love turned real. Here.

Unbeknownst to the pair, Crazy Diamond comes out and heals MC-kun's broken body and his stupid warped sense of love.

Okuyasu: Hahaha! Jojo you bastard, always cleaning up my mess! But at least this guy has his own happy ending.


The day after tomorrow in the office:

MC is now wearing casual clothes like before, knowing that he doesn't need to change himself, but is also glad that he did because now he is with his senpai.

Off the corner, Best Friend-kun speaks with his mangaka:

Best Friend: Thanks for helping out with this, Kishibe-sensei. My friend has always been a little... Out of his depth and obsessed.

Mangaka: Don't mention it. Normally I don't indulge in this... matter. But I know enough that surpassing others is easier than surpassing oneself. He was trapped in his mind, and besides, Josuke owed me one.

And yes, before anyone disses me on this, it was stuck in my mind for a while and I hate this one-shot with a burning passion, enough to make this stupid ass ending. I hate everyone in this manga, but at least this ending has Best Friend-kun as a Stand user.

From page 1 it was over for that dude; he was never gonna win. If he'd just called her bluff when she tried to pose as a cool senpai instead of running with it, their kids would be the ones skipping by now. It was entirely self-inflicted. Sadly he still had no idea where he went wrong in the end. To be fair he's too dense to be believable. In contrast the girl is hateful but more interesting and realistic.

Much maligned manga tbh. It's a downer, but it's not aimless suffering porn. There's much worse out there.

Let's be honest aside from her trying to accept his confession and him putting it on hold she never seriously tried to sit down and have that conversation. She mostly mutters when the topic comes up and he gets busy. He's not intentionally brushing her off after that 2nd confession scene.

Instead of setting aside a private moment where they can talk out their issues and insecurities or feelings of ineptitude she swallows her misery and screws another dude despite claiming to love the MC and knowing that the only reason he became like this is because how much he felt worthless to her after her scolding. A conversation at a dinner date or walk after work would have worked, but she didn't try that did she?

She's a selfish coward and betrayed his efforts and trust. He's dense and inconsiderate of the girl he likes. It can be both their faults. Let's not act like she was going to this dude on hands and knees begging him to understand how she feels and why he should just start dating already and she's at her limit mentally. Fuck, even at the end she avoids eye contact from all the guilt she feels. They're both retards and so is everyone arguing over a shitty NTR one-shot(which I kinda wish had a sequel, but is what it is)
