Or no one even knows about the error and thus haven't even tried fixing it. Or they just don't care. From what we saw in the flashback, the elixir wasn't exactly brought to the human world via "legitimate" channels anyway, so I do believe its support contract is now null and void.

That aside. What if the regenerative a ility is based on Tsukasa's image of herself? The barrette is a part of her in her minds eye that it gets regenerated as well. To grow older and die she would just need to invision that that is reality.
