I had read the raws for this chapter but didn't really understood this part for problems with the text, now I understand, the hero family is harassed from the village because they want him back to protect them, or very likely, got promised a reward from some noble that will get him after he leaves the royal capital protection.

The posts above say she is the heroine of the story, I presume the meaning is that MC will fall for her (sayonara guild clerk-chan), after all the noble lady that super respect MC have a big wall in getting close to him.

the noble lady that super respect mc, is a rewritten character. the the WN/first version she was never mentioned again after the first battle. and stayed forgotten. despite having some back story as the sister of his brothers ex fiance.
the Manga follows the light novel version. where she has more appearances.

Spoiler: Lily

Lily is the main heroine and will eventually become MC's fiancee. MC and Lily get together not because of politics but because of love.

She is not a fighter, but she has photographic memory (iirc, I may be wrong) and is a very good artist, both 2D drawings and 3D sculptures (which is very useful for making maps and blueprints of MC's inventions and experiments). She's both smart and loyal, and she doesn't really overstay her welcome imo. Their romance is quite slow and the story doesn't really focus on it that much mainly because MC is always out on a war somewhere and Lily mostly acts as his secretary/assistant.

She will become very politically important because she is the Hero's sister. She is treated as a backup in case Mazell dies, so that the people have someone to rally under in case the Hero dies on his journey to defeat the Demon King. Also, people are after her because having her marry into their family means that they will have some form of a hold on the Hero Mazell. This is why MC's family is protecting her and her entire family. Iirc she's probably the second most politically sought after maiden after the saintess princess (which is the Hero Mazell's love interest).

Currently, they still haven't married in the novel because the King wants MC and Mazell to destroy the Demons first.
