yep - he's also clearly both very intelligent and very perceptive, and given he clocked her and her "true" self as opposed to her "school mask" persona, I think he'd be able to tell that she didn't do any of that stuff at the Karaoke bar because she wanted to be there.

I've finished watching Zero no Tsukaima anime a loooooooooooong time ago, and then at some point I heard the news about the author's passing, but still have the last volumes planned out. I just checked and they're available to read by now.

Shakugan is ok, or at least the anime is, but not too interested in finishing it.
