yeah I remember from past chapters comment, people getting mad at the mom because she didn't talk to him, but what good would have been to tell him after he came back from being NTR'd on his birthday, the chapter was clear with how it went for the mom at least to not be part of the problem.

Exactly that cheating bitch always had another choice. Instead of coming clean and helping clear up all the shit her ex had suffered from and dump the bastard; she doubles down and falls deeper into being his slut.

Tachibana is the President of the litterature club and mastermind behind Eiji and Miyuki break up, and the bullying. She asked one of her club member to introduce Kondo to Miyuki. She did that because she was jealous of Eiji's writing talent. It's not her first evil scheme, because in middle school she used Kondo to destroy the relationship between Eri and Endou for a similar reason (Eri was a honor student with better grade before her downfall). Fun fact : Kondo and Tachibana are childhood friends and they already had sex in middle school. For her, Kondo is just a disposable pawn

On another note, Eiji’s mum is good for protecting her son, but when you try and push an apology away (ie, acknowledge it, you don’t have to accept it but at least allow her to apologise), bad shit happens cause they spiral and make increasingly irrational decisions. She’s a teenage girl, people make mistakes. I mean this was a pretty bad mistake ngl but you still use a mistake to teach people. With some people that requires heavy handling but with someone with this much will to better themselves it is better to accept now, and the harshness comes later.
You're not wrong, but on the other hand Miyuki harmed her son. And pretty grievously too. Parents tend to not be lenient when it's their kid being harmed. Whether or not Miyuki spirals is of no concern to Eiji's mom; removing her son from Miyuki's harm is.

Damn, already 2 months huh. This is lining up pretty much along with what I expected from the last chapter...
Teenagers with tofu-brain who can't make sound decisions nor truly grasp the consequences of their actions until FAFO.
It could be just me seeing some similar stories play out IRL, with kids lacking proper and/or having poor coping mechanism to handle mental mistakes and then continue struggling to grow up.
I'm not sure if it's a translation thing or me reading between the lines - but it is important to note that Eiji's mom said it is ultimately up to Eiji's decision if he wants to forgive Miyuki (but she herself will never forgive Miyuki)... should Miyuki go to Eiji. Surprisingly Eiji's mom was willing to let her son settle matters on his own (out of her view of course).
I pity Miyuki for not knowing any better... and not being able to find help for herself because she put herself into the corner in a panic after a mistake. Regrettably for her, it looks like she can't even ask her mom for help in getting out of the hole she dug for herself. Instead she is now reaching for the jackhammer (again) that she can't control in the first place just to to fu*k herself into a deeper hole - all for a momentary respite.

Yes, Karma is a bitch and Tachibana will learn it the hard way. For example she thought she destroyed all Eiji's manuscript but Ai with the help of a litterature club member save some, which make Eiji motivate to write and upload a novel on the internet. This is a big hit and jealous Tachibana publish her own to retaliate but this is a big flop. She also used one girl to manipulate the soccer club members who got expelled to assault Eri but one of them didn't take the bait and threaten up Tachibana with violence later. Also she tried to erase all her exchange with Kondo using an app which delete all message from her phone and then Kondo's phone when he'll connect, but unfortunately for her and she didn't know it at the time, he broke his phone after throwing it with anger, leaving evidence of their guiltyness (the police retrieved the data). Of course, she thought she was smarter during her interrogation with the police only to show she was the biggest idiot in the room. Since she is 18 and with all the charge against her, she'll be judged as an adult and not a student.
