Okay, this is great! Let's wrap this up! The author clearly lost the plot when they hit writer's block before this arc; it's better to just conclude the story altogether before we lose any more of what made this enjoyable to begin with.
According to Novelupdates for the WN/LN this is based on:
95 WN Chapters (Hiatus)
4 LN Volumes (Hiatus)
Chapters 96+ are fanfiction, stop posting them on this page. No new chapters have been published since 2021

The original WN stopped quite a bit before this point right? I guess they might be wrapping up the story soon, although I do wish they actually have more in mind and would continue a bit more. Seems a bit of a rush to explain all the remaining loose ends in just a few chapters (we haven't even gotten any proper explanation about the gods, and that assassin girl who knew about the space force).

Probably MC die, series end with the kid getting the mission to finish the job
Why not clone him and transfer his memories there..? And shouldn't surgically removing the hostile nanomachine factory from him at least slow that process down, if it needs time to form..? (Allowing the beneficial nanomachines to repair the damage in the meanwhile.)
Sigh.

You would be right. I checked and chapter 95 of the WN corresponds to chapter 45 of the manga. We're now on chapter 59 of the manga. The manga doesn't appear to follow the "fanfic" at all.

Yeah the novel readers have been saying the manga has been doing its own thing for a while now. Honestly I kind of expected things to wrap sooner rather than later. If you were the Mangaka tasked with adapting the LN and ran out of material, how much incentive would you actually have to keep it going on your own? You don't own the rights to the series and a portion (if not all) of the sales are going back to the LN author. It's honestly a miracle we got this much, let alone a proper send off.

As for the ending itself...passing the job onto the next generation is kind of generic, but I guess it's fine. "Cancerous nanomachines" is somewhat dubious, though at least it's more dramatic than Alan sitting the throne and then abruptly ending it there.

It's always possible the mangaka discussed with the author where the story should go once they hit the end of the written material since it's possible the author had some idea where he wanted things to go even if he's say decided he's never going to get around to writing it. Kind of makes sense why things seem so sped up if they were handed some high level plot summery of how things were supposed to go and the mangaka isn't interested in trying to flesh out all the events in between more than necessary.

Yeah, WN author had some strong writer's block leading to the hiatus of the WN, but afaik, they've been involved in the production of the manga while there was still WN material to adapt, and at minimum helped with planning what is to come after that material ran out. It's been too long so I don't really recall all the specifics, but it's all been discussed to death in previous chapters.

Wow, space cancer was the last thing I expected.

Since it's gone past the novel, I guess it's doing the MC dies and kid follows in his dads footsteps route...though I guess the whole goddess thing will be a unresolved detail. Well, it's been a fun ride everyone, it looks like we're nearing the end.

Bugs are only interested in new technology to steal and eating their captives. Aside from magic, this planet has no real value. As they’re already having a good time trolling the rest of mankind, why would they bother with this backwater trash?

You guys seriously need to do something about your quality control. "Creria"? Really?
Repeated speech bubble at the top of page 7 as well
You complaints have been duly noted and ignored.

In all seriousness, it’s LHT, so the upload was done by an independent uploader, and LHT no longer maintained staff presence in MD since the major upgrade years ago. All feedback therefore needs to go directly to them; IIRC they have a discord server.

They also never fix mistakes. Ever.
