He called her a human?
This story world is divided into "humans" and "destroyers". Elves are lumped into the "human" side, along with beastmen and dwarves (and humans obviously). Which makes the whole "omigawd a Dark Elf" thing a little confusing, but maybe those that are reacting that way are seeing Dark Elves as traitors to the human side.

I don't recall it being stated that casting magic is incompatible with body reinforcement... It's been stated that multicasting spell is incredibly difficult though and that most mages only cast one spell at a time, so maybe body enhancement while using magic is difficult.
I'm not gonna go back and reread to verify this, but I believe the difficulty of casting more than one spell at a time was in fact the reason body enhancement is rarely used. I remember thinking that was a little dumb. Even as a one-at-a-time spell, it has such obvious tactical benefits that you would at least want to be prepared to use it. How many times in these fantasy stories does the author find a way to render the magic user temporarily useless because of magic resistance or just a scenario where brute strength is the only solution?

I wonder if it's as simple as the "human" side are all ningen (People) while the destroyers are all mazoku (the Tribe of Evil) or some similar terms.

Japanese has a number of terms that can be inadvertently misleading when taken literally, but they also sometimes have like six different words for the same damn thing.

imagine if the moon goddess is now a middle-aged man experiencing the wonders of earth. Maybe she just swapped them around to go on a nice (goddess sized) trip
I could see this theory the most. If Haruka is indeed, in the body of the moon goddess then where would the moon goddess' consciousness have gone. I do appreciate Haruka meeting someone 100+ years old, them also being a healing mage and giving them some time and now evaluating their magic.

I would imagine it's going to be a case of, I can't evaluate it because it's too far above me kind of thing but there could be some insights that might make magic use improve or change, like how Leo was able to teach Haruka some magic even if it wasn't necessarily improving the magic itself.

I also kinda want, someone to peek at Haruka testing magic and that develop into a conversation but I'm secretly wanting someone from the party to know they transmigrated and it be something that brings them closer. I don't think the story is remotely going that way, just a personal wish.

Thanks for the tl and sorry to hear about your glasses being stolen while you were away. Hopefully the person that took them benefitted as we all know from isekai, people steal when they don't have other means to survive, mostly. Unless they are just a rich asshole stealing wages or something from someone lower than them. Which reminds me, I really wanna see Haruka get mad for the sake of someone else and flex more power. I like that sort of thing.

Thanks again for the tl

Personalistx you gotta go on a journey to save your glasses that will be at least 3 times better than some animes' plots

Thnx for translations Personalistx, it sucks to have one's package stolen especially if its an item you waited for days to receive, also looking forward for the next chapter and the drawings you do at the end.

This chapter was interesting in that it may be the first one in the comic that struck me that it was as slow as the web novel. The novel doesn't move quickly, but it doesn't stall.

Now, where is their test subject for her to practice healing magic?
