Fun fact about the announcement: Niconico deleted a bunch of comments on the official release page. Last week, I went to read the raw chapter and saw the announcement. Since I was already there, I stopped to check the comments and there were some pretty spicy ones. Then, 2–3 days later, I checked again and those spicy comments were gone. These are the comments that are there now:

The Story was good until that prostitute arc, Hope we get closure on this already and move on.

Better yet, just end on a time skip where everybody are moving on with MC getting married with the glasses girl in the future and end it from there.

The author went radio silent about the manga on X after someone told her she ruined the story in a post where she was promoting Chapter 46, if I’m not mistaken. She stopped promoting the manga after that. I guess she doesn’t want to deal with backlash over the series anymore, especially since there also seemed to be backlash when the second novel volume was released.
