There is this little thing called tone. If this were a raunchy over the top manga then I would have no problem with what was going on. But so far the tone of this Series has been a very serious and down to earth one. It's like the difference between watching a comedy and serious political drama. What flies in one won't fly in the other. Let me give you an example to make what I'm saying clear. Hitting someone over the head with a hammer. In a comedy that's just a moment of slapstick that immediately gets brushed over with no consequences or harm. In a crime thriller that would kill someone and probably be the murder that the cops or detective are trying to solve.

The problem is not that you have a different opinion, it's that you have an inane response to the opinion of others. Pretty sure you started judging others first.

Succubi do that, yes. But those people are telling you that the worldbuilding means that a succubus should be punished for that behavior, or at the very least be met with social consequences, and that if it doesn't happen, their willing suspension of disbelief is going to be broken.

Showing them a wikipedia article while disregarding their points makes you at the very least unsympathetic. You could even have disagreed but then opted not to pass judgement.

I don't mind nearly as much as them because i want to see where the author is trying to go without projecting my wants. But it's a bit more than simple virtue signaling.

The rules of the world that the mangaka crafted claim that what she did was really bad. And so they expect it to be met with appropriate reactions.

This being said, i personally disagree because as one gains life experience and learns about the data, the odds of any perpetrator of sexual abuse being met with punishment are pretty low, at the very least in Japan. Moreso when the victim a man because of a variety of stigma (for example, the belief that men can't be raped except by another man, etc).

Rapist and attempt rapist in real life and manga very rarely caught. In the case of later how many times have you seen manga where thugs try to take a woman to a alley or something and don't get reported, mostly it's used to white knight the MC discounting the fact those thugs will go out another day and do the same.

Lately there's been a lot of desensitizes of values and bastardise of words, so they have lost their value.

I got quite side tacked but as for this either way I plan to continue to read this series, though that girl should face some repercussions, not sure how severe, certainly don't want a certain other recent manga getting even that happened to nasty girl . Please keep it reasonable

The very first page of this manga states "I am a succubus" and I could give you a point if this topic never came up again but that is not the case here. The demoness theme is always present, I suggest you chill and enjoy it as it comes, I doubt the author would make Emu brush this off like it's nothing because she's not that type of character and she's well aware of what is happening. There is no room for misunderstandings one way or another: Succubi seduce and men get seduced. Feels rapey? Learn more about fantasy and check again.
