idk man maybe just play it safe and stick to Linkin Park. they at least cared enough to make their songs listenable.

Not a troll lol. just someone with different taste than you. Thanks for actually trying music outside your comfort zone even if you didn't enjoy listening to it. Also, just a question but how much does lyrics actually play into your ratings? (ik you said you rate on enjoyment and melody but just curious)

likewise, thanks for being chill about it and a good sport. i play up the criticism just to keep it interesting, but i'm not actually out to get anyone for their music taste (well, unless they're willing to die for Mexican drill rap...)

as for lyrics, i wouldn't place their importance over melody for me personally, but i will say that subpar lyrics can ruin a song for me. (lyrics that are too uncreative / 'on the nose' do lower my appreciation of a song.) the lyrics don't have to be too complex/deep, rather they just have to not be unimaginative.

Confucius's battle theme

damn... might have to dump 200 hours into Limbus Company for the music alone. this feels like it could go in many games, and they definitely did a great job with the Chinese motif (appropriate for 'Confucius'). 8.4/10.

...in a first and hopefully last for my submissions a spotify link i have not been able to find a version of this there that is this specific version i enjoy.

i can certainly make do with Spotify links (as i've been a Spotify Premium subscriber for 5+ years now!).

quite quaint, queer, and questionable. now that i've expended all my Q words, i rate this a 6.9/10. much dinging.
