Well, looks like one of my theory is hitting the nail. The "Luna is protecting Naoto from herself" theory.

We start the chapter with Naoto recalling Mimi's statement of people going all the way to bed with the matching app, and we once again enter Naoto's delusions of Luna having some fun adult time with another guy. Naoto then snaps himself out of it by hitting a pole hard, and tries to calm himself down acknowledging the amount of blank time when he didn't know what Luna was up to, reasoning to himself that Luna probably only wants to hang out with another person, that whatever happens won't change his and Luna's relationship, and his feelings for Luna won't ever change.

We get to Luna sitting on a bed nervously, she recalls that she hasn't been in that sort of place since that one time with Naoto, and she recalls her kiss with him. Simply thinking about Naoto has gotten Luna worked up, but before she does anything she stops herself. She knows that she is important to Naoto, and thinks that it's because she is his Big Sis Luna. Luna thinks to herself that if she crosses the Alabama line, their relationship will never go back to it once was, that Naoto would leave her. We then hear a knock on the door, and Luna steels herself with a look of cold sadness on her face, wanting to completely erase this one specific need of hers so she could stay being Naoto's Big Sis Luna.

Cut to Luna coming back home, not sure how to look Naoto in the eye after what she'd done. Naoto however jumpscares Luna like a man in a bleached Captain Kirk mask coming out of the toilet, greeting her. Meeting Naoto at this exact moment is awkward for Luna, and she tries to escape, but Naoto uses Evil Presence to stop her catches her tripping as she panics and grabs her. Naoto went straight to interrogate Luna as she is unable to Decisive Strike herself out of the situation rendered unable to escape. He asked if she'd been drinking as she reeked of alcohol. Luna answers by saying she had with Hiba, but Naoto lets Luna know the he knows it was with another man.

Luna asks how he knew, and Naoto tells her about seeing the app on her phone. Luna is desperately trying to pass it off, but Naoto continues his attack asking if Luna was looking for a lover, to which Luna instantly denies. Naoto then asks her reason why she used the app, but Luna is unable to tell Naoto to his face that she gets hot just by thinking about him. Luna not wanting to tell Naoto a lie however confesses that she needed to blow off some stress lately, so she decided to meet up just once. Naoto tries to question her but Luna tries to escape once again.

Luna tries to end the conversation, but Naoto then tells her that he too is pent up, which caughts Luna by surprise. To this day he thinks to himself that Luna having a relationship with someone is a given thing that he can't do anything about, that it is Luna's freedom to do so, and that he can't say anything about it. But this time, unlike some other protagonist on some other manga, he's having none of that as he enters Bloodlust level 1.

Chapter ends as he asks Luna directly to her face in execution grabbing distance, if she needs to blow off some stress, then would Naoto himself suffice.

For her it seems like it is completely devoid of emotion, purely as a procedure so she does not redirect herself to her most important person, so that Naoto won't leave her, and Luna... is completely reading him wrong. It makes you wonder if the reason she disappeared from Naoto the first time around was because she almost committed Alabama with Naoto all those years back.

In a sense, Luna IS doing the "right" thing, as society dictates that committing Alabama is bad.

Here Naoto clearly questions Luna when she lied about drinking with Hiba, to which Luna instantly folds and exposes her lie.

Here Luna is vague when talking about which "yoku"(urge/desire) she wants to erase. Context would suggest "seiyoku"(lust), but the ambiguity leaves room for author trolling shenanigans.

But if you meant about the whole thing, then yes the author has been completely vague with the dialogue since chapter 1, today's chapter however is very much skewed towards one possibility.

The Karaoke incident a few chapters ago might have been a good chance for something NTRish to happen with Luna but it didn't happen and considering we only saw Luna having sex in Naoto's delusions in this new chapter I still don't think she's gone that far.

Until we explicitly see something happen or Luna confesses to Naoto, then I don't think it's happened and the way I see it, I'm not so sure the series will go on for too much longer, I certainly don't see this series extending past 100 chapters, might not even make it all the way to 50.

Yup, it's a stupid development, I can give you that. His lingering scent was enough for her to get started since chapter 1, and single-player is enough to sate the need. You however, are not taking into account that her lust for Naoto only grew stronger post "birthday present", she likely reached the point where she needs a player two.

Here's the thing though, Luna has the wrong read on Naoto's feelings for her.

• She gets the part where she is important to Naoto correct.
• She thinks that Naoto likes her only because she is his "Big Sis".
• She thinks Naoto will leave her if she stops being his "Big Sis".
• She thinks crossing into Alabama with Naoto will make him leave her as this would stop her from being his "Big Sis"
• What she got wrong was that Naoto is dead serious about her, Alabama and all.

If there's one thing that she fears the most, it is Naoto leaving her. It's not her rationale telling her this, it's emotional dependency caused by her loneliness trauma, because for her, Naoto is a living crutch that she is desperate to not lose. In her head, she has to remain as Naoto's "Big Sis Luna" or else she will lose him.

Something to note is that Luna didn't seem that dishevelled if she did have sex at the hotel and honestly with everything considered I think the author is playing around and Luna didn't go that far.
