Oh? I am curious where this is going, did not expect a full flashback to Junior High, expected one to middle school, and maybe I didn't even expect it this chapter. It's interesting to see their relationship during their "distancing" phase, but I am a little bothered that Sunao seems so pasive with Lemon here in the flashback, we knew they barely kept contact afterwards until ending no contact by the end of highschool, but when we saw Sunao at the start of uni, he hated her guts, what happened exactly during this distancing phase or is the author going to retcon things? I will hold out faith here, maybe the cutoff pointhere is him telling her that he wants space or something.

I just hope Lemon confirms to Sunao when we are out of the flashback, that yes it was a lie, but telling him the reason. Also expect it to kind of end awkwardly after that, being silent and then Lemon's mom arriving, I would be satisfied enough and honestly would not be completely mad to be put on hold after development and set up, having the resolution later, probably a lot less awkward when they are in their own bodies.

Well this is about what i expected sunanos feelings to be, but i wanted a bit more development. Theres gonna be a whole flashback arc before we find out why she lied, isnt there?

I've waited for this arc for so long, hope it manages to be good since things have really started better about this manga since chapter 30-ish, guess the author finally was able to find his way to grip his story well, so I kinda have high expectations that the author will actually be able to deliver.

I really hope that she didn't lie because she thought that he didn't want to be in a relationship anymore. (I don't think that this is going to happen, but the characterization definitely allows for it...)

I smell an incoming introduction of a villain. I have a hunch that they are gonna reveal that the girl who bullied Lemon into breaking up with Sunao, was the same girl who traumatized Sunao years later.

They are not juniors in high school here. They are middle schoolers. They haven't dated yet. Iirc they went to different highschools? (might be wrong on that one)

im glad he stated the obvious right at the start before the flashback. im glad that the air has been cleared about that insane story, and im very interested in finding out why she decided to tell it.
