In all seriousness,just like how VNDB uses quotes from the respective titles at the bottom,this is a fantastic way for people to find series,for they've been given the best fan interpretation one could ask for.

More so the adverts,they're perfect.

If it's not possible everysingle day,then one day every three months would be more then good enough.

Whilst the April Fool's haters can seeth all they want.

Personally, I don't think the Staff can afford to keep up the April fool system for long since they're already struggling and having a hard time to keep the site up normally because of the user load.

The gacha was neat,but the adverts were much better.

And that itself isn't much of a load,since it's just "have random picture + corresponding link".

No need for the gacha side of it.

I found a bunch of new series and a couple of series I overlooked (overlord and some others I can’t remember) and it was a great experience! Also, I would be fine if they used ACTUAL ads for it, like you click on one the shitty mobile game ads and it gives you a random number of dex coins you can use to gamble, it’s a win-win! They get money from ads and I get to gamble!

But I just want the comic adverts...
Probably has something to do with me playing Arknights,Girls' Frontline : Project Neural Cloud,and Girls' Frontline 2 : Exilium.

Also,clicking on actual adverts would mean exposing onself to potential bots that track you more then the governments already do,you absolutely don't want the CCP and a targeted advert company knowing you read the latest armpit fetish comic after rolling it in the gacha.

Of course,an alterative solution is some fella who knows coding(maybe even the same fella who did it here)making a dedicated comic gacha with comic adverts on its' own site for us all?...

I love the gimmick with funny "ads" and gatcha, latter helped me find three new titles I liked this year, "ads" helped me find interesting titles previous years, this is april fools done right, and I wish there were more like this year round.

(also: screw the prank chapters, they are a bummer)

all of this is pretty much on client side, gatcha itself will be a pretty simple database. should not add a lot of load.

(but prolly the best solution to find new manga would be a gatcha roll page, click a button, ten cards with titles show up, you found something new, would not be hard to even crosscheck with your lists so not to expose you to something you knew already)

(and making new title cards will be a cool way to engage with community)

I like the prank chapters,they're really fun,but this whole advert system beats that by a long way.

If Mangadex insists on having so many holes when it comes to their titles and issues with list arrangment,then they should at least let us have the adverts.

If they make the ads permanent then I'll be happy and will make manga ads every week .

Although I can understand the counter-argument: it does take away the novelty of April 1 if it's done every day.
