At the end of the day I guess its up to how you view it. I don't think it changes things much either way. She has genuine feelings for Master and the way she shows her affection can be viewed as teasing, vicious and a bit manipulative, though she means well and isn't villainous--she's not twirling her mustache.

Instead, she wants the boy she likes to do the shit she likes to do and she wants him to enjoy it; this she will maneuver situations to coax him. It's an expression of her feelings. Some will view that one way, others will view it another. The author has described her though and the other commenter was simply quoting him.

I've read Hagu's work before, and I'd never call her a sadist, from all of those works or this work. If he really thinks that, I have to question what he thinks "sadism" means, because it is about sexual gratification from the infliction of pain on others, which just isn't her style. She's not a masochist either, getting off on actual pain- she gets off on being dominated, and always has. She's just bratty about it. From FAN FUN:

Then there's the one with the suction vibe where Master basically claims her and she's all starry-eyed and happy about it. None of these has her at all on the level of "will think about cheating on you and will cheat on you", and her behaviour and statements in this very manga have also shown that she's not like that at all. She is warped, yes, but she's not a bad person in the slightest, like your choice of words imply or explicitly attempt to state.
