Saying ‘it’s better for the students if I quit...’ is just way too low of an excuse.
Knowing full well that after the teacher quits, the monster girls will be exploited by the corrupt teachers, and yet doing nothing and living a slow life... that’s just scummy.
The monster girls praised sensei for being capable and amazing, but all he did was unnecessary self-deprecation, and then, at the moment when it really mattered, he ran away. There's not a single ounce of coolness in that.
Honestly, the protagonist is so irredeemably terrible at this point, it's beyond saving. I just want the story to be changed and restarted as a new, similar work.
