They cut out a lot of the story, huh. It's a shame we couldn't see Komaki in honest mode when she was sick, but it's okay. As long as they are honest with each other in the end.
Really? If they add that scene as an extra chapter.. atleast I could have sympathy to this chapter.

It just look like wakaba is in her 'mom-mode'

It just feels like she's giving up. Giving herself that is. She's giving what komaki wants

And I don't see how Wakaba giving herself to komaki will vanished Komaki's insecurities in a flash.

There's a lot of ways to do that. I mean they didn't even go on a proper date yet lmao 😂

Is this Axe?

Did the second half of this chapter feel really weird to anyone else? The whole confession scene feels rushed and has so much dialogue, a lot of which felt completely out-of-character.

Maybe I’m misremembering, but I thought this manga usually did a decent job conveying information through subtext and implication. This felt very “tell, don’t show.”

And I agree that it feels gross that all of Komaki’s behavior was just shoved under the rug like that. Really felt like that should have some repercussions…

At this point i just skimmed through 🥲..

There's good toxic yuri and then there's whatever this is 😐

It feels like it's just toxic to force some form of connection in the story, but also tries to be a "wholesome" romance and they're honestly conflicting..
There's virtually zero reason for mc to love Komaki, but she does, just because, makes all the drama almost feel like a comedic form of S&M, as a reader i really can't find a reason to sympathise with Komaki
I got to the last 5 pages only with the thought of "wtf" 😂 😂 😂 😂

Let‘s overnalyze this here for a second.

Wakaba… I think there‘s something wrong that we dont know. Reason for this just being the artstyle and the way she speaks. In this kind of manga, and what we‘ve seen from the drawings of the author before, they blush like a lotttt. At every situation. Right there, at her “confession“, she didnt blush at all, neither did her words really come over as much as those of Komaki. She didnt show any emotions the way I saw it. Not even shock or being flustered at the last panel which you would DEFINITELY expect from her character, right? Her expression is basically dead, just look at it again. That smile is not genuine, nor happy, it really just looks forced. Her voice being overtoned by Komaki with her being so quiet and just repeating that shit like she doesnt mean it is not right. Something happend, not sure if I just missed it or if we dont know, but something tells me that she may not be genuine or that this may end badly. So far, this is still peak. Even the full 180 of Komaki is peak. Thanks for the chapter.

Well, idk why the author thought normalizing all Komaki did was a good idea. I mean, sure, Wakaba loves her, but to most readers Komaki became just a crazy obsessed broken girl who was planning to assault her beloved person. Like, dont go that far if u plan to solve so simply.
Either way, Wakaba expressions at the end here were a bit too serene, almost like she was enlightened. Somehow it didnt felt like she was as happy as she would in a mutual confession situation. Might be due to the setting of the story that got me twisted, but it felt a bit ominous. Idk.

Wakaba's sudden personality change is strange, but at least we're heading toward a good ending. I'm not sure if Komaki deserved such easy redemption, though.
