Man this started out good but it’s becoming more and more annoying by each passing chapter with fmc egoistic behaviour. Like ffs you can’t expect everyone to remember every minute details of their childhood especially with a stranger unless you are a savant. Just know that you are both teenagers and move on.

Left on read for 5 days and avoiding all confrontation??!! That’s just begging for someone to just straight up hates you especially when they’re sincere to talk it out. Hope she got some repercussions later by idk, maybe someone else also targeting mmc.
Or she can keep being the ice queen of the class I guess, cause this new girl looks pretty cute too if she gonna be her rival.

Hope this stupid conflict be resolved soon and we go back to some fluff.

I will say that 5 chapters, at the pacing that it's going now, is a long time to make a conversation happen between two people who see one another every week day.

Unless a full 3.5 chapters are just entirely backstory where the ML is force-fed exposition until he remembers who the FL actually is, and 1 full chapter of him attempting to corner her until he finally manages to get her for 30 seconds, wherein the final .5 chapter is a half-dozen lines of dialogue and suddenly everything's magically fixed.

Maybe the novel's good, but this setup makes it seem like it requires persistence akin to those "you just gotta get through 2 seasons and then it gets great, I swear".

most of these comments seem to think that she’s still upset MC doesn’t remember her, but it seems clear that she’s actually just embarrassed and mad at herself for getting so upset and saying something mean and making a scene and now she’s too guilty to even face him.

It’s still tropey and annoying, but not quite in the same way.
