There aren’t that many dialogue bubbles either, so the whole mood feels really peaceful Here, MC starts to feel this uneasy feeling in his chest because he wants to stay together with An-chan. While reading page 6-8, an idea just crossed my mind. In an imaginative world that if An enroll to Azeno (but still grows connection with Shunpei just like in the main storyline), she will often wait for him to finish his club activity in the class before going home together, damn

I like how the author gives us quite a lot of visibility over Shunpei thoughts but provides more visuals or action-based hints of An's ones. An example here is how among all the drawings, she looked for Shunpei's one and not Luluca's, for instance.

This damn manga makes me so conflicted, because I want to keep turning pages so the story flows over me at the right rate, but at the same time I want to laze about in letting the gorgeous background art wash over me and take in all the detail. I think the harmony between the emotional and physical atmospheres is part of what gives it such a slow, wistful, contemplative vibe.
And @NamekazeMinato that warp on the slipper text on page 7 is chef's kiss.

It's really a comfy manga to read. Shunpei's thoughts about "alternate realities" were interesting. Really, if An had stayed at their school, their relationship maybe would've never gone beyond the friendship stage. Shunpei wouldn't have had a reason to start talking to An on the bus, and An wouldn't have had a special reason to interact with Shunpei as her only daily connection to her old classmates. Maybe the fact that they're apart is the very reason that's bringing the two of them together now.
