A lot happened in this chapter. From Giorgi getting arrested, MC reuniting with Liz, the train basically being a house on wheels, Alisha becoming Chiffon's servant, and Vale wanting to monopolize the company and the market. Can't believe all of that happened in just one chapter :meguupog: The best scene, meet Liz-chan again

I didn't understand the train drama with the nobles at all lmao :aquadrink:
If he got the trade monopoly on rails and carts, his territory could have become wealthier than the royal capital, as a part of the deal was the trains having to depart from his territory as a central hub. If you are the intersection of people and goods people will spend and trade in your territory.

I got that they wanted to make his city into the train hub
but I didn't understand what they chose to settle with instead? because that evil noble interfered with the plans so what got settled instead because it sorta looks like team good guys won somehow?

Probably a faction thing, as the other duke seems to be good at manipulating the lower nobles. And the deal was to sell the carts at the price that of half a mine cart for 5 years, which would probably be operating at a loss.

By all means take a copy of the plans and start planning out your respective tunnels. Without Miyabi or the Berdini crafters, they will be in production hell for the better part of a decade as they try to piece together their own engine and rail cars.

While they struggle with that, Miyabi will be chunking out a four to six rail lines, a year, complete with regional station and locomotive. So all the half priced iron is going to do is speed things along rather nicely for Berdini backed projects.

And as an aside, i wonder how long it will take to bankrupt Duke Green Vale? He still has to buy all that iron for full price, even if he recovers half it's value. Miyabi is still going to be burning thrue their supplies with astonishing speed. So I wonder which breaks first, the supply of iron or the Green Vale bank account.
