Now this is how a battle with a dragon should be! I don't care how often it plays out this way, but a dragon being an apex if monster-kind will always feel right to me. Also I could see that sword break from a mile away, but considering no one else (to my memory) use katana in this world, getting it repaired might actually be a somewhat relevant plot point for the future. You can't have a samurai without a katana!... unless they're an archer which made up a significant portion of samurai historically speaking.

How strong is Ginko compared to other samurai of her time? I am pretty sure the earlier chapters showed that she was really strong even in our world but I wonder just how much she was compared to other "cream of the crop" samurai.

How strong is Ginko compared to other samurai of her time? I am pretty sure the earlier chapters showed that she was really strong even in our world but I wonder just how much she was compared to other "cream of the crop" samurai.

She was practically a monster in our world, I don't think any other samurai could match her unless they were a legendary figure like Miyamoto Musashi (who funnily enough would be around the same age as Ginko)

I was thinking, "How did her sword not break when she blocked that tail whip with its side?", katanas are very fragile in their core; the side of the blade is too hard and brittle.

Well... still metal, sure, it can still take some punishment... but it seems her katanas have reached their limits.

There was a flashback where her mom pulled on her dad's ear and accidentally ripped it out.

So it seems like part of the excuse for Ginko is that she's an actual genetic freak born with absurd-for-a-human strength. That plus her dad training her since she was an infant.

The katana breaking plot point is finally here, le'ts see if they find a dwarven blacksmith or if she finds a legendary weapon in this world nobody could use it that also happens to be a katana similar to what happen on the samurai bodyguard yuri

Ohh yeah, there's a mistake on page 11. Instead of "I, Tsukitsuba Ginko, is a samurai" it should be "am a samurai"
