Nice to see a full chapter! Finally, after six years the manga is closing in on the finale of volume 1. I am curious how the manga will handle it compared to WN, LN and anime. But realistically it will likely take another year to find out.

the author alrealy revealed they are going to allow the change. The author got hit with so much egg on their for wiping out all the character growth and development and revert them to squre 1.
Though the author did have the balls to do that crap so perhaps the author may have the balls to revert their claim.

Prologue was released February 06, 2020. The only reason Mangadex says "7 years ago" is because it weirdly rounds up the year at 6 months out; but if you hover over it, it'll show the actually release date. Hence, Chapters 0 & 1 are "7 years" being in Feb & March, but Chapters 3+ are the proper 6 years, since that was May and beyond.

at this point on LN she is 100% aware and accepting of his feelings. They kiss just like in here and mutually agree to hold off dating/marrying to after dealing with the demon invasion

Even without the novel as reference, I think it's quite obviously solid. To begin with, it's actually her egging Patrick on in this moment. She's the one who realized Patrick's feelings and then immediately didn't hesitate because the uncertainty was the only thing holding her back before now.
