It's rare for me to read a story that makes me want to see a good character die.

And it's not because the character is poorly written. Rather, it's because the setup, struggle, and character development are so incredibly well-crafted that they make me want to see how tragic it would be if that happened.

A good story needs a good death, you know.

I honestly don't find the whole 'recommend me anything' conversation interesting.
I dunno, man, just read Doraemon then. The chapters have just finished being republished today.

And then continue to that infamous fan-made final chapter that fooled many into thinking it was the real final chapter, to the point where Shogakukan sued the creator.

When I was little, I'd just read whatever volumes my older sister had when she rented the comics.
So, earlier this month, I started rereading it from the beginning.

Previously, as with Kaze Hikaru,
I really wanted to create a thread just to write down my experiences reading a particular manga.
Not necessarily a review, but more like word vomiting my conflicted and confused feelings and emotions that messed up my brain while reading it.
Things that went beyond just whether the manga was good or not, beyond its story or art style.
When things that I like are mangled and jumbled with things I don't.

Then I thought about it more.
