@Mogima Memeko is leaving because of both (presumably Ryou proposed to Memeko when he had something to say to her). Kishida kissed Memeko on the forehead (that's why that little glowy spot is there).

@pokefairy Well, the pronoun situation is a little different in Japan because the gendered pronouns in Japanese are generally first person, as opposed to third person in English. Ryou uses the feminine first person pronoun "atashi." I don't believe that anyone has used a gendered third person...

@miyako19 Yes, I am aware of that. My translation note omits that for the sake of brevity, and because I haven't translated the term as anything else. I probably could've worded it better.

I'm a little surprised too, since Mameyama looks feminine to me. The androgyny is definitely on purpose though. @GodGinrai The kun in the first chapter actually isn't masculine, it's the "senior formally referring to a junior" kun being used as a joke.

@breizh In chapter 1, it's stated that Taiga cycled around the coast of Okinawa while still in the present day, which is apparently 300+km over 2 days according to this site (http://tour-de-okinawa.jp/en/COURSE/cycling.html).
