It's okay for a casual read. The worldbuilding makes no sense and the artist sucks at drawing black characters, but it's okay if you're not in for intense analysis and just want to melt your brain with cooking manwha. The art is mostly ok and the characterization is... honestly kinda mediocre...

6/10 It's not perfect, the villains are almost always one-dimensional, and in some cases, the protagonist condemns innocent people who didn't do anything wrong. After every arc, the previously major characters are usually never seen again and you get confused on who is who in the group chat...

Just... appreciate the fact that the female protagonist isn't a "tsundere" or "kuudere" who blushes a lot and is actually a strong female protagonist beyond the physical stuff. It's a nice change of pace in manga.

10/10. It's hard to explain a manga so unique. It has good worldbuilding and an intense mystery element. The artstyle and colors also add to the mysterious atmosphere. And it's not horror in a grotesque way, it's horror in... the fear of shadows and the unknown? Just read it.

The covers and tags might not seem like it, but this is a really wholesome story about cosplay and self-acceptance. Giving this a 10/10, because it deserves a rating of at least 9 stars.
