I put no volume number for these chapters for now to not ruin the reading experience. (I did report this to MangaDex to fix already)

Chapter 7 next year.

Starting to think I have a secret superpower where whenever I look through my old bookmarks that aren't getting updated anymore one gets revived, because this is the fourth time it's happened now. I checked this one last week and was wondering if it'd even get picked up, and here we are :dogkek:

Hm. I have some knowledge of Japanese myself, but I still can’t work out what the theme is. Sorry.
No worries, thanks for your help!

Even the characters themselves did not know what they were doing :dogkek:

I even forgotten this series fully and thought that I found a new series and reading from 1st chapters until 5th and then opening mal to actually realized myself that I already read until 4th chapter from 5 years ago…

Good work mate

I think I just figured it out: It's word association. I'm assuming his previous message was へえ/hee (huh, is that so). She responds with ブンブンブン (onomatopoeia for a buzzing sound), basically saying "bzzt, wrong, that's not how you have a conversation". His response is はえ/hae (蠅, fly). From there she's basically giving him riddles: substitute grain is ひえ/hie (稗, millet), recorder is ふえ/hue (笛, flute).

Interesting. Thanks!

If you don't mind, may I quote your comment in a Notes page?
