Reading back through the first chapter again did mention a brother. So you are likely correct. But I also feel like they are purposely skating around labeling him as the brother.
I guess we'll find out next chapter.

Isn't that just his older brother? Who was mentioned few times? I mean he even mentioned being MC guardian so it would make sense.
Before fire Nico was like 16-18 years old so maybe MC brother also had feelings for her? Or Maybe it's Nico brother as they kind of look similar.

Also anyone haves idea how many chapters are there? I mean it's marked as complete, but I couldn't find any information or raws.
