@kronix dude, you should go read Tower of God, MC starts out hella weak and barely gets any real powerups til ~50 chapters in (course later he's OP as hell, but if it's just the slow initial buildup, he's definitely got this guy beat...and by real powerups, I mean power that's actually his to keep...or even use more than once so far in the entire ~400+ chapter series)
