@Equilibrium - We already saw that. Author glosses over it but Rimuru had already done his mourning, he was there for almost a full day among the dead. I'm sure all of them have as we come to the city after all the dead had been gathered. Author skips this and I'm glad for it; because it would have made the "let's resurrect them all" extra-extra cheap. Now we get to the "we got shit to do" point of the story and the author again, is laying it on thick. The sword-sensei definitely made it personal and even though he's supposed to be the calm and composed instructor he made his feelings well-known. No spoilers here, but he sure as hell is out for blood. All of them are.

@Soundwafflez As someone else has mentioned, the light novel is probably the better choice when you wish to read further ahead - rather than the web novel.
Using the light novel, the author reworked a lot of stuff that didn't work out the way he intended in the web novel and improved upon it. So on the one hand it's an officially edited version, on the other hand it's the canon version of the story.

That swordfight is basically a novice challenging a Heavenly Master to a duel

The death of that bitch was too easy. Would want her to be captured and turn into a sex slave and being impregnated by goblins until she's dead

@Aluna: There's still a few seconds of blood left for the brain to run on in the case of a sudden decapitation. Blinking and mouthing have been recorded in people executed by guillotine. Current medical science is not certain how long consciousness lasts in a freshly decapitated head, but it is known to be a non-zero amount of time.

@Aluna To be honest, that makes more sense than when their heads are cut off and they still talk after that. You need to breathe to some extent to talk and you don't have your lungs anymore.
Though I'm no expert it seems reasonable to be able to see for a while after your head is split from your body since it's mostly related to the brain. Then again, the explanation that it was the skill "thought acceleration" that allowed him to see for a longer period doesn't make much sense either, since it would consume more energy from your body and the little reserve you had after your head was decapitated would be used more quickly, making your brain "die" faster.

Thinks: "are you a kid?", three seconds later: "you are no warrior". The discount villain should have asked at this point: "aRe YoU a KiD?".
