edit: on re-read I noticed the reason they're in squalor as Hinata's mom says she'll "buy you anything you want" and with how the funny line last chapter "how much did it cost" in referring to the two-shot it kinda brings to mind unhealthy parasociality.

When her mother is calling out "Hinata-kun" on page one, she starts using the kanji "日向" for "Hinata." Her daughter's name is spelled as "陽向" and pronounced the same way, so they share the same second character in their names. I'm sure there's some sort of nuance behind the two characters used for the first part of their names, but I couldn't tell you what exactly, if any. If Hinata the girl is actually Hinata-kun's daughter, with an obsessive mother like that, I can totally understand both how Hinata got her name to begin with (her mother's treasure, in honor of Hinata-kun) and why she's now hated for it (it constantly reminds her mother of what she wants most and can't have).

I don't know if its the case here, but in Japan some parents will use one kanji from each of the parents names to make a name for the child. Which would mean, well, the obvious that she actually knew Hinata's father rather than being artificially inseminated.

So first she snapped, then snapped herself out of it within seconds. That's impressive.

Wow, we're all like "wow, wish that was me", "I totally want to get drained dry by a bunch of down bad babes" and then Kisa shows us how terrifying the women in that world actually are.

I have no doubts in my mind that Satou is

going to end up with all the mom, sisters, and guard students once he punches his v-card. The man values relationships, and as a healthy teenager it's inevitable. The problem is the plot will officially just be Satou working out and banging his sister wives 7 days a week rather than exploring the world.

After all, having sex with your sisters is unexpectably normal.

This and 210 are the best chapters in a long time. I just love it when a lighthearted story goes dark. It looks like the plot and lore are going to be more of a focus for a while at least. It's not like the checkhov's guns weren't there. We just assumed that it would be ignored since the over-the-top dialogue made the manga so funny.

Shit is not checkov's gun anymore, it's a minefield the story are bound to step on soon... The agenda has been sown from the first chapters when the mom trying to show sou how dangerous woman in this world are. You're right, we've been distracted by the comedy while author has been cooking some stuff in the background... Maybe it's not that deep but shit got me hooked.

Men aren't physically weaker, just the men we have seen so far. If you read the earlier chapters with Sumire she tried to attack him, and he physically restrains her. She writes about it in her super popular Twitter account.

We know there's a lot of misinformation about men based on the conspiracy theories online about them. Satou's imoto friend, told him that if a man sat next to a woman that a man would cum out of her eyes remember?

Satou is uncommon and, based on the description is maybe like male hostesss, movie star attractive. Be we don't know FOR SURE what other types of men in this universe are. For all we know, we might have a CEO or some high-status females with multiple husbands.

My initial impression was that Hinata's mom would be revealed as like Yuri's - pushing her daughter to be a guard so she could meet guys, maybe getting abusive cause Hinata doesn't want to have kids. But I had it backwards. Hinata doesn't want to have kids because she has THAT for a mom. The kind of psycho who names her daughter after her romantic hangup like some kind of replacement goldfish to project her feelings onto.
