It's not like the checkhov's guns weren't there. We just assumed that it would be ignored since the over-the-top dialogue made the manga so funny.

I personally was surprised given that each chapter was about 5 pages. However, the crazy has been escalating so I shouldn't have been. Very well-written for a fanbox manga. My guess is at the end of the day Sou is going to become more like the other men in that world. It may be the only way to survive. I guess the unfortunate fact would be that actual interaction between the sexes would have to be limited in such a world. Having so many women throw themselves at you is like, to be brutally blunt, like watching too much porn. We all know what it looks like and it begins to have a mind-numbing similarity that takes the edge off sexual longing. You want actual emotional connection and a normal conversation but all the women just want sex now if you talk to them nicely. You can't even talk to them in the end.

Well, damn. Now we're deeper into the lore than what we expected. In R18 version, Hinata was revealed to be an abnormal that doesn't want to have kids for unknown reasons. Even now, Sou would still use condoms with her.
