Add an option to disable the sparkle animation on the Become a Supporter button

I have no issues with be button itself, it's been there for ages, and I appreciate it's nessessity, but I have a few concerns about it's new animated shimmer.

1) I'm using an extremely old tablet, with a very old battery. I'm a little concerned about battery life on this old thing.

2) Especially in the reader, you have to actively train your eye to not wander mid sentence. The pages are white on black in the dark theme, so something flashing white elsewhere is something that's going to keep breaking your focal plane on the page which makes reading longer textblocks tough when you're periphery alerts you to something mid line.

At least with 20% of the screen blocked by this message, it lowers the amount the chapters deleted by DMCA you can see at once. Quite useful !

Yes but some poor people are using Chromium-based browsers and can't use the good ad blocker that lets you fix this problem yourself.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I found the animation very distracting, and I'm of the opinion that if my first reaction to something is to figure out how to remove it via Ublock then it needs to be rethought.

If it just animated once it would be fine, but having it constantly cycle was extremely unpalatable to me.

I don’t have an issue with the button being there (financially can’t donate ATM), but it’s headache inducing for me due to the constant effect it repeats (same reason why I enable reduced motion when sites allow for it).

For the reader, you can go to Reader Settings -> Page Layout -> Header Visibility -> Header Hidden or enter fullscreen.
