Dolkness. I see what you're doing here, author. I've read a good amount of isekai where having black hair is unusual. Why do Japanese authors like to use this trope? Can someone explain this to me? Black is literally most common hair colour in the world.

@SakuraShower Western setting but must insert Japanese as MC, because written by Japanese, but a Japanese person suddenly popping out among Caucasians? No, no. So, to compromise, black hair. It's the closest physical trait that they can put in to show the MC's Japanese-ness without outright breaking the western setting in place, and they seem to have this fantasy mindset that westerners don't have black hair. Also, the color black is associated with nasty stuff IRL and history.
