I know there is symbolism on the whole thing and the future chapters could make the whole thing better but I still wanted to see blood. Aurora is a closed box and seems deeper than she looks but what Karina went through was real and she was wronged. Sure there is bias from her perspective but its not 100% biased. She survived and came to the cathedral from her own efforts alone, no thanks to Aurora.
Fair I'd say as the symbolism was practically non-existent. Because sure if we look at it on one hand; Karina crashed the wedding, damaged the cathedral, declared herself still alive, and then with her monster lover ran off while stealing the ring. So sure, from that pov it certainly looks like Karina dealt a heavy blow to the kingdom. It would also seem dreading that Karina is still out there with her monster lover planning a full attack.
However on the other hand,
no one was killed or harmed. This isn't just a request for bloodshed, but a literal fact. This downplays the threat of Karina and Reshtoka, in the eyes of the kingdom; making them seem less a threat and just a bunch of hooligans shouting demands. And sure the Cathedral was damaged, the wedding was interrupted, and the ring was stolen, but it means little when we were never given much importance of much of those things except for this chapter. And since none of these things represent any real tangible power or authority; the story of Karina's attack can be altered thanks to the kingdom's influence.
We already saw that the royal family had pretty much smeared Karina's name and allowed the manipulation of information about her. So all it would take is the king's word and suddenly the story of Karina's attack changes from her having her monster wreck the wedding and steal to the ring to becoming the
Crown Prince bravely fought off Karina and her monster lackey to protect his fiance and his people. And during the course of the battle, the ring was lost and the cathedral was destroyed, but the prince forced Karina to cowardly withdraw ensuring that no one was harmed in the attack!
Not only would this boost the prince's image, but it would just further vilify Karina; where rather than fearing her, the kingdom would become unitedly embolden to take her out. But due to Eve telling the story to those present about how the monster will eventually eat the princess, the people could simply see it as Karina's deserved fate and to let the monster eat her while they go about their day.
So this revenge as we saw it was pointless, weak, and practically non-existent. She reminded people that she is still alive? Who cares! She'll just go off and get eaten in a few days anyway. She humiliated the crown prince? The guy doesn't have a single bruise or dirt on his body; she didn't do a damn thing. She stole the ring? Look it's the wealthiest kingdom in the continent, built upon who knows what lavish corruption that got it that far... It may as well have been a penny... The crown prince will live in fear of her? Why? Because she's still alive? Sure he got a weird obsession to have her killed, but she hasn't really did anything to make him fear her. Hell he was still talking shit to her even after she burst through the Cathedral. The guy is too much a dumbass and egotistical prick to know fear.
Of course, you could ask why didn't he charge Karina and Reshtoka to get the ring back himself; and the answer's simple. It's because he's too much of a pampered palace punk to do it himself, that's why he was calling the damn guards; just like how he had always intended to kill Karina, but he sent assassins to do it, rather than do it himself. He doesn't want to sully his hands dealing with troublesome trash.
At this point; unless we either learn that the ring is actually magical and a key item for the kingdom, or the king and prince begin to act comically insane, or that this really was the start of Karina's revenge and she intend to do more damage... this was a comically terrible revenge and Karina could've just stayed in the damn mountains.
