Thanks for the chapter!
Uhh, am I the only one who's kinda confused here?
The pacing just went lightspeed here.
Are we rushing towards the axe's blade?

Also those plot points...
I'm a bit worried that planting flowers in a flowerbed suddenly has a such a drastic effect on their mental states.

Yeah if im the king id probably asked the court mage to check whenever he can remove the spell there or is there any consequences of destroying it

God that was a sudden burst of speed. This has been pretty interesting so shame to hear it might be ending pretty soon.
Still, I'm grateful for the fact we have a new chapter
thanks! it took a while but the team has been scrambling to release this, so far so good, i also do feel it might end soon(hopefully not) but if it is we'll probably grab another manga to scanlate

This got convoluted fast, and you saying it's not over? The chapter screamed bloody murder the entire time!
I have no idea where the author can even go with the story after this. Unless "Puni-chan" is planning on speedrunning through as many cliches as possible? :thonk:

Anyhow, big thanks for the update!

honestly this feels like a new trend with the villainess mangas recently
so instead of making the "heroine" always just the big bad there's been a rise in people manipulating or using the "Heroine" at the back, from there they can go from individuals to entire countries, from countriest to nations, nations to deities or aliens(probably not this one but you get the point)

If you'd like to know
After concluding the current arc.

We get a cut to the game's developer office basically enjoying new review of their recently released Ophelia route.

Then one of them suggest "Shouldn't we make a new ML for villainess route?" (well, 'hero' is the term used)
As the discussion went on, one of them suggest "The pattern where he's not an ally"

Since Ophelia in the main story is a rival in love as well as the last boss.
Then they can add in her route the REAL boss of the butterflies, basically the hidden last boss!

And so we get:
Dark skin
Ore-sama
"Prince" of the butterflies.
Stepbro (he's adopted into Ophelia's family)

Insert "wat r u doin step bro" meme here.

I've never liked characters like the heroine here who think the whole thing is "just a game."

The fact that people have their own lives, and the fact that you can GET HURT and FUCKING DIE is a bit beyond something that is "just a game."

And if they're stupid enough to blab about "starting over" or "respawning", a smart person with no morals could just stick them on the "eternal torture" route. There are plenty of things worse than death.

"Do you have any proof she was lying?"
"Do you have any proof I'm lying?"

I think that's a pretty good end.

It always goes so well when the antagonist "heroine" starts panicking. For the protagonist.

End got better, though.

Sometimes, they're just living on copium, because they can't handle the fact that it's real.

And if they're stupid enough to blab about "starting over" or "respawning",
Blabbing about their reality being a game is just generally a bad idea. Saying it used to be a game, or was a game in their old world is fine, but that it's still a game? It's going to remove the supply of the copium I mentioned above real fast.

the whole respawning thing just tells me they're terrible gamers, imagine it as playing fire emblem, you're in classic mode, the good tried old school one where deaths are permanent but you think for some reason the game is on casual mode by default.

It looks as if the flower bed directly effected the men's behaviors? But it should have taken a considerable amount of time to replace all the flowers in that flower bed. Especially when it wasn't just carelessly pull out the old flowers and carefully replanting the black freesias.

I kinda get the heroine. I mean, how am I supposed to believe that this world is not a game when the affection and attitudes of all the high ranking boys change whenever someone changes the flowers in a specific flowerbed?

Seriously, that flowerbed is the weakest application of the "Game Compulsion" trope in otome stories I've seen
